Judge a Book By Its Cover: Pretty Packaging on Barr Co. Products

I am a sucker for old-school apothecary design. Glass bottles with retro paper labels give me a serious case of ineedtohaveitrightnowitis. If there’s one company that plays to my weakness, it’s Barr Co. Their soaps, salts, candles, lotions and perfumes look like they belong in an old-timey pharmacy. Or a chic French woman’s bathroom. Or a chic French pharmacy.

I want it. Gimme it.

The lotion is a nice, thick, shea butter moisturizer with the same delightful scent as their eau de toilette: subtle, with milk, vetiver, and oatmeal. Both the texture and fragrance are supremely comforting, and the product leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety. Plus, the bottle just looks so damn good on my nightstand.

It really does look good.

You can buy these products at Anthropologie or on the K. Hall Designs website.

What other products lure you in with their packaging?
